The guitarist Kiko Loureiro from the band ANGRA talked to Guitar Player magazine website about the new studio album “Aqua”.
“Aqua” will be in the stores on August, 11th this year. It contains ten tracks showing the chemistry among Edu Falaschi (vocalist), Rafael Bittencourt (guitarrist), Kiko Loureiro (guitarrist), Felipe Andreoli (bassist) and Ricardo Confessori (drummer).
“A new CD is always a great step in our career. It shows who we are and what we think about our music”, said Kiko Loureiro on the website. “This record relates a united band, ready to expose a strong and consistent work musically superior to all the previous ones”.
To whom that can hardly wait to know more about the track list or how it sounds, the guitarist says: “’Aqua’ has elements of our entire career. Our marks and influences are diverse but it also has the maturity of 20 years on the road with all our experience joined to new elements discovered along the way, some modern ones and new trials. We left all the cliché behind."
In the meantime ANGRA continues to book the shows for their next world tour in support to the seventh studio album “Aqua” which will be released in Japan on July 31st and afterwards in Brazil and Europe.
