Angra cited as reference of Brazilian Metal abroad

American Blog 666 The Number Of The Blog published a select list of ten big names from the Brazilian metal scene abroad, except Sepultura.

Besides having such bands as Sarcófago, Krisiun, Korzus and Attomica, the article pointed out Angra and Dynahead as inspensable for people who want to know the diversity of styles from Brazilian heavy-metal. "It's always nice to be recognized outside of his country, especially in a market as complex as United States. We are very please with this honour and very soon we'll from there for our new tour in support of the album "Aqua", said the singer of Angra, Edu Falaschi.

The Band Angra from São Paulo has recently officialy launched the latest video clip of his career. The song chosen was "Lease Of Life" and the video counting with the production of Paulo Calencci, the photographer Kaue Zilli and was directed by Richard Guida, with the participation of the actress Vanessa Cristina.

The production compagny responsible for the video, Alcateia Filmes, released the video yesterday at Vimeo.

Angra will present a pocket show followed by a sign session at Livraria Cultura to promote their latest album “Aqua”. After being away for four years, the band returned to release the seventh full length and retrieve their identity with a new line up: Edu Falaschi (vocals), Rafael Bittencourt and Kiko Loureiro (guitars), Felipe Andreoli (bass) and Ricardo Confessori (drums).

Kiko Loureiro takes part today with Angra in Loud Park Fest 2010, which takes place in Kobe (Japan) at Kobe World Memorial Hall from 23 :00 (Japanese time) !

They will play alongside others great bands such as Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Motörhead, Avenged Sevenfold among others !

Initially named "Beast Feast"when it opened in 2001, Loud Park Fest was renamed in 2006 and become one of the largest heavy metal rock concert events in Japan. Headliners in the past included Megadeth, Slayer, Marilyn Manson and Anthrax among others.
