Kiko Loureiro with his band Angra, has recently been interviewed by Adriana Farias, from PlayTV, about the Japanese universe and their long lasting connection. Here are the answers from Kiko ! (English translation from Angra Official Webiste).
"PlayTV – ANGRA has a deep connection with the Japanese culture. The record will be released firstly there because of this?
Kiko Loureiro – “Aqua” will be released firstly in Japan on August, but in Brazil it will be launched in the same week and in Europe on September. We have an excellent connection with Japan since the beginning of our career when our first album “Angels Cry” was released there in 1993. We received a golden record award at that time and since then we have always been touring and performing in big festivals in Japan."
